Visiting Durbuy: small but plenty to walk around

Durbuy is a lovely commune in the Luxembourg Province of Belgium. I discovered it thanks to my younger daughter, who spent the last weekend of 2018 in the village. And she has enjoyed the food, the beer, the unique shops with very unusual products, as well as the walks in the woods and the boating on the the river.

It is indeed a great place to visit. On Saturdays, there are crowds wandering around. So, it is best to go there either on Fridays or on Sundays. And sleep over, in one of the bed and breakfast places, if one has spare time for it.

In any case, it takes about 90 minutes to reach Durbuy by car from Brussels. It is a bit outside the traditional touristic places people visit when they come to Belgium. But if you have a friend in Brussels and a day to enjoy in the beautiful countryside of the Luxembourg Province, just ask your friend to take you to Durbuy.

You can offer your friend a special cocktail of food and drinks, very sexy, as shown in the last picture.

I share some pictures of the place.
